Metal Fabrication

Fabrication is a core part of the millwright trade and a key strength of the Lovegreen field team. Our millwrights routinely cut, weld, modify, and fabricate components onsite to support equipment installs, upgrades, and repairs.

We don’t just install what arrives; we adapt, fit, and build what’s needed to get the job done right. Whether it’s welding brackets for a new install, retrofitting a conveyor frame, or modifying structural steel to match site conditions, our team brings the tools and expertise to make it happen.

Our field teams are equipped to weld and fabricate directly onsite—supporting installation, modification, and repair without delays. From custom brackets to structural tie-ins, we bring the right tools and know-how to get the work done safely and efficiently.

Common work includes:

  • Mounting brackets and base plates
  • Skid frames and support stands
  • Custom guarding or safety rail
  • Tie-ins for utilities or framework
  • Welding structural steel to existing platforms

When equipment doesn’t quite match the field conditions (or the plant needs a modification to make something work) our millwrights deliver solutions on the spot. We adapt components, build connectors, and fabricate new parts to close the gap between plan and reality.

  • Modifying equipment bases or legs to fit existing floor slopes
  • Adjusting or extending conveyor supports
  • Fabricating coupling guards or transition plates

Some installs or rebuilds require project-specific components to be fabricated ahead of time (brackets, subframes, platforms, and more). Lovegreen supports these projects with field-ready builds, delivered to site and installed by the same team that built them.
